We will be adjusting our fees on the 1st of July, 2023. The fee increases are modest, between $3 to $5 except after 5pm which will incur an additonal $5 fee, after the new rebates apply. We will continue to strive to remain accessible whilst providing quality health care, however with costs of providing quality medical care increases every year.
Why are fee adjustments nessecary?
Unfortunately, the gap between what the government provides you through the medicare rebate and the costs of runing a consult are increasing year on year. Fee ncrease are nessecary to ensure we operate a sustainable practice, that does not compromise on our comitment to serving you and your family. The pressures of inflation are also contributing to our costs.
There will be an increase for Pensioners and HCCH. It will increase to $25 out of pocket on weekdays before 5 pm. As previous, after 5 pm and weekends full rates apply and there are no discounts. Please book before 5pm on a weekday if you qualify for the discounted fee.
