Travel Medicine

Planning an overseas trip? See your GP first for a comprehensive travel consult to help you stay healthy and safe abroad.

During your appointment your GP will review your current immunisation status, and provide personalised advice on necessary vaccinations, malaria prevention, and other travel-related health risks specific to your destinations and health needs.

Booking a travel consult includes time with the nurse to administer any necessary vaccines without delay.

Please bring a detailed itinerary to your appointment.

To ensure immunisations are effective on your trip we recommend to book a travel consult at least 6 weeks before you travel.

Please note not all GPs do travel consults. If you are unable to book with your preferred doctor please call reception who can assist you to book a travel consult.
