All doctors at Harding Street Medical Centre can assist with pregnancy planning and early pregnancy care.
If you are planning a pregnancy we recommend to see your GP to optimise your health and minimise risks at least 3 months prior to conception.
Pregnancy care can be provided by accredited shared care providers Dr Amy Nicholas, Dr Sue MacGill, Dr Angela Read, Dr Melanie Simpson and Dr Julia Coote in collaboration with your hospital obstetrics team.
After your pregnancy is complete it is recommended that you and your baby attend for a “6-week check”. This is an opportunity to check in with your doctor about any concerns you might have about yourself and your baby and to complete the “6-week vaccinations”. The 6-week check appointment must be booked through reception on 9384 1321 so that an appropriate amount of time is available.
