MyMedicare
MyMedicare (https://www.health.gov.au/our-work/mymedicare/patients) is a voluntary patient registration model in Australia that aims to strengthen the relationship between patients and their primary care teams, specifically their general practice and GP.
Signing up for MyMedicare with Harding Street Medical Centre will allow you to access medicare rebates for longer phone consults.
In order to sign up your Medicare must be linked to your “myGov” account.
How to sign up for MyMedicare with Harding Street Medical Centre
Go to “Medicare online” (https://www.
Search for “Harding Street Medical Centre” and select this as your practice.
Select your preferred GP from the drop down list
You do not need to provide any further information but make sure you continue to “review and submit”
- Sign up for MyMedicare with Harding Street Medical Centre to access medicare rebates for longer phone consults.
- Your Medicare must be linked to your “myGov” account.
- Once in “Medicare online” scroll down to “MyMedicare” and select “register for My Medicare”
- Search for “Harding Street Medical Centre” and select this as your practice.
- Select your preferred GP from the drop down list
- You do not need to provide any further information but make sure you continue to “review and submit”
